I am the immensity you see around you.
I am the sky, I am the clouds.
I am the plants, I am the trees.
I am all the people around you.
I am who I am.
You know me in the depths of your being.
You recognise me in the depths of your being.
You are deeply moved by my presence
Because you recognize me.
You come from me, you recognize me.
I lay dormant and unacknowledged.
By many of you who are very engaged with the material world.
The material world blocks me out.
You do not see me because you see only the material world.
The material world with its many facets block me out.
When you are engaged in things that occupy your mind so much.
with ambition with greed with jealousy with hatred.
With competition, with all those earthly gains and preoccupations.
You block me out.
You do not see me.
But I lay within you, a fountain of yearning.
Every now and again, I would move in the bosom of your being.
And you hear me.
Sometimes you hear me and you push me under.
Because it is not convenient to hear me.
Because when you hear me, by degrees you would lose your grip
On things that interest you, that excites you.
As a result, to attend to me, it is imperative you let go your grasp,
your hold on the material world.
I am not asking you to deny yourself of everything in the material world.
You have to be practical.
You are living on planet earth.
No, all I ask is the detachment of your soul.
You could engage in your daily living and yet not be attached.
It is the attachment that drown me out.
You could engage in all the wonders, the marvels of the material world.
And yet be fully in me.
For I am the love and light in your being.
I am God, your God, your Infinite Creator.
