Spiritual gurus

The first red flag for me about spiritual gurus.

Are those who knows everything.

You cannot question them or out think them.

That very condition reveals a spirit not genuine.

A true spiritual leader would show you the way,

Guide you along the path.

They would never impose their path on you.

For we are all different, and unique.

There is never one path for all.

We all walk our individual path to God.

For we are all unique.

There is no one like us.

Or we would sing one song to God.

And that is not what creation is about.

Creation, nature is a cacophony of songs.

They are varied, and beautiful.

Each piece of nature sings a different song.

Through each, God experiences his being.

Varied, and beautiful.

About the time some spiritual teachers box you

into a set system of beliefs.

Allowing none but their own.

Allowing especially no questioning but a blind acceptance of their teachings.

Run, for that is not a genuine spirit.

Not a genuine spiritual guru.

In this day and age, where spiritual gurus abound.

I use that as a top marker.

As one of the major red flags.
