The Law of One

The Law of One, when I first learned about it,

I found it resonated with me.

Oneness of God and service to others.

I translated it to love of God and love of neighbors.

It was however very disheartening to learn God did not create us directly.

I used to marvel at our bodies, how each part work

and thought only God could create that marvel.

The other was that God is not a personal God.

How could God not be a personal God?

I experienced him as a personal God.

Divine Providence, the way he took care of me after I left the monastery.

The inner voices and chances he provided for me along the way.

Never once did I lack anything.

He was always there to help me.

But as with all things, I slowly grew into the idea.

And creation, God did not create us outside of himself.

He created us by expanding himself.

God was this unit alone.

He always was, he is and he always will be.

He became aware and becoming aware,

He wants to experience himself.

And so he expands himself into us, into the universes.

And we came into being.

Through this entire universe, universes, he experiences himself through us.

As with the thought of reincarnation, when I first looked at it, I put a question mark on it. Neither believing nor disbelieving. Over time, however, the idea of reincarnation makes more sense to me, than the belief I held of having this one life, this one chance on earth.

Similarly, with the Law of One. Put it against ancient teachings, mysticism and modern science, it is indeed believable and plaudible.

Weaving different religion, beliefs onto my backdrop as a Catholic is what my spiritual path is about.

I see myself walking, gleaming from everything that helps me on this path to God, enriching myself, following truths wherever it leads me.
